These terms describe the current operation of The Wall and the conditions that apply when a maker submits a placement to Fivehundrd.
Placements
New Standard placements created under the current beta terms run for 72 hours after activation, subject to review and service availability. A Standard placement uses one Wall position and allows up to 2 destination links. The commercial terms recorded when a placement is created remain attached to that placement; a later product or price change does not rewrite an earlier placement. Standard will cost $9.95 once this launch leaves beta; while it is in beta it is free to claim and nothing is charged.
Content, rights and review
Anyone submitting content must have the rights or permission needed to display the submitted images, text, audio and video and to link to the submitted destinations. Placements can be reviewed, rejected or removed for legal, safety, rights, abuse or quality reasons. Where a charge applies, removal for a violation can end the remaining placement time without a refund, subject to applicable law.
Ranking and results
Payment buys placement time and space only. It does not guarantee an organic position, Saves, Keeps, clicks, plays, sales, followers or any other result.
Previews and destination links
For many categories the preview is the maker’s own destination link shown through an official embedded player. Those platforms serve their own content under their own terms; Fivehundrd does not become the publisher of that external service. Where a category accepts an upload, such as a look inside a book or a podcast teaser, source media may be processed into temporary optimized derivatives for delivery. Placement media is designed to be purged through the placement lifecycle, while limited operational, financial, discovery and audit records may remain where needed for the service.
